Im not sure if you noticed BUT

only 2 statues in temple of ages have missions. the other 3 have statues and ghosts but no missions

could those 3 have missions when anet releases the biggest update of the year this summer?

They are only releasing two new areas this summer. But I bet, in the future, all the statues will have missions.

I found a statue of Lyssa in Mineral Springs (just out in a random cave). Does that do anything (Didn't have favor of the gods at the time)?

I found that one too Manadar, but I was surrounded by about 30 ice imps. Needless to say I didn't reach it ... that was an unusual monster spawn because next time I went out there skill capping the spawn size was about a quarter of the original time ...

Dwayna/Lyssa statues on the field will give you either a +2% or a permanent HP >> regen, depending on what you pay em.

You need to have favor, tho.

The lack or areas and missions are getting out of control. the updates released weekly aren't enough just random fixes.

Well, it's "permanent" until you run into a monster with Enchantment Removal. IE, 82.7% of all monsters in the game.

Maybe they'd get more time to get the new areas released if everyone wasn't complaining about things like exp/rune/skill point grinding.

They're trying to listen to people and get things fixed, AND get the new areas fully functional. If you look at their website, that's a bit much for a handfull of developers to do in a really timely manner.

ALL the god statues do that, Balth, Grenth, etc, give you, oddly enough, Dwayna's Blessing [Don't ask me why Grenth gives it but yeah it does.], and they all do the same thing in field. +2% morale or Dwayna's Blessing which is +2 or +3 Health Regen.

lol, by definition the areas and missions are too IN control, and so we need more

Although I've still got plenty to keep me busy.

As far as I know all statues in the field give the same 2 bonuses, which kind of stinks cuz I highly doubt that Dwayna, Melandru, Grenth and Balthazar (am I missing one?) would grant the same rewards.

Do both statues in TOA take you to the Underworld or just Grenth? I went to the underworld via Grenth by mistake... what do the others do? Which one's don't work?

the balthazar one takes you to the fissure. do /kneel if front of it and a ghost will pop up. give him 1k and off to the fissure of woe you go.
